Treasure Coast Propellers Prop Press 360
Treasure Coast first to use the Prop Press 360
In March of 2010 Treasure Coast Propellers became the first prop shop on the eastern seaboard to purchase the state-of-the-art Prop Press 360, a new technologically advanced machine using hydraulics, rams and computers to manipulate propeller blades. Treasure Coast Propellers President Herb Jarrett stated, “The purchase of the Prop Press 360 has many benefits to our company including reducing the physical demands on our personnel, allowing us to repair props that otherwise could be determined unrepairable and also decreasing the stress and trauma to propellers being repaired by conventional methods.” The new Prop Press 360 can handle props up to 40 inches. “We have already repaired a few wheels that we would never have attempted without this machine, I wish I ‘d had this machine a long time ago,” says Jarrett.
